Massage

There are many types of massage to be had: indian head massage; on-site chair massage; swedish massage; aromatherapy massage; sports massage; no hands massage, etc.

I prefer to treat using therapeutic massage which is a massage that is not a routine, but individually personalised to your condition and aimed at helping to alleviate that condition, rather than just a relaxing treat.  You will still get the relaxing treat, but in addition to that, your condition is likely to feel much better as well.

A full body massage can be a light relaxing massage using aromatherapy oils or a deeper massage using swedish and sports techniques using a lotion.  A full body massage usually lasts 45-50 minutes.  For the first session a consultation will be necessary to ensure you have no conditions that will prevent you having the massage in the first place and also to ascertain what type of massage you want to have and for what reason.  Aromatherapy massage is usually deemed to be a treat and will cost slightly more due to the oils used and as the oils are doing the work, the massage will generally be light and relaxing.

A deeper massage would normally be needed if you have a specific physical issue that you would like to address.  Aromatherapy oils can also be used for this type of massage but generally I would use either a plain lotion or a muscle warming lotion.

A back, neck and shoulder massage can be 45-50 minutes, but can also be shorter, depending on the condition and what you would like to achieve.  Again, oils can be used or the lotions.

Whether you want a lovely relaxing treat or a bit more a pummelling, I can do either!
